Heaps: sometimes used when referring to a lot of something (That dessert was heaps good)
Keen: You like the idea or thing (I'm keen for a surf today)
Ending a sentence with but: Instead of placing but in the front of a phrase you place it at the end
Arvo: Afternoon
Devo: Devastated 
Petrol: Gasoline 
Tomato Sauce: Ketchup is not a word here...you will be spotted straight away 
How you going: How are you? 
Esky: Cooler (Let's take the esky down to the beach)
Macca's: McDonalds 
Uni: university 
Pokies: Gambling machines, rooms (I'm going to the pokies tonight) HUGE in Australia...
Pommie: British (He is a pommie) 
Gaol: Jail 
Ute: pick-up truck 
Swimmers: Swim suit 
Jumper: sweatshirt, fleece
